Castor Park (Segur de Calafell)

A family-focused amusement park and carnival – perfect to spend the day entertaining the kids!

What can you expect?

A carnival that’s more of an amusement park with many different attractions for the entire family to have an amazing time. There is an Arcade Zone with several games and Carnival Games all around the park for some classic entertaining games. There’s the kiddie’s area for the smaller children and some inflatables for them to have the most fun playing inside and jumping around. The Nube which translates to “The Cloud” is a nice ride that gets kids up to the sky. There are some Flying Chairs as well for a classic fun time and some trampolines for the children to jump around and have fun with each other.

Note: the ticket system works a little different than your regular amusement park. Castor Park uses a rechargeable card, then you simply pass the card through a card reader right before entering every attraction and it will automatically charge you the price of each specific ride. The card can be used by several kids in each attraction and the money you charge into it does not expire. You can use the card on any Castor Park across Spain.

How to get there

The park is located in Segur de Calafell, right by the beach.

Want to use public transport? From Tarragona, take the Barcelona- Estació de França train and stop at “Segur de Calafell”. It will leave you 15 minutes away from the park.

Alternatively, a taxi might be quite expensive depending on the area of Costa Daurada you are staying. Are you thinking of renting a car or do you already have one? This is your ideal time, from within Costa Daurada it will probably be less than a 45-minute ride to the park. There are parking facilities near the area.
