Marineland

An aquarium, water park and more all in one place! Definitely a wonderful day out as a family if you have small children. It is located in Costa d’en Blanes, close to Palma de Mallorca.

What can you expect?

Check out the penguins, seals, sea lions and all types of fishes. Get to see an incredible dolphin show that the kids always adore. You can also go into the water park area with fun slides and a calm pool to play with your children. Right next to it there’s also an access to the beach if you are down for a saltier water and sunbathing.

How to get there

Want to use public transport? If you are staying in the city of Palma, there’s the 104/105/106 bus that will leave you right next to the Marineland area.

Alternatively, a taxi might be quite expensive so always check with your hotel on what options you have available. Do you have or are you thinking of renting a car? This is your ideal time, you can use a rental car as it’s a 20-minute drive from Palma, in the port of Ca’n Pastilla. There is parking space around the area.

• You can’t take your food inside. There are good kid-friendly places to eat there.
• If you head to the pool area, take into account that the floor can get very hot in summer, so pool shoes are advisable especially for the kids.
• Buy the tickets online for a cheaper price than on the day at the box office.
• Remember to wear sunscreen to protect yourself and your kids from the Sun.
