What can you expect?
There are two ticket options:
Guided tour + Lookout Tower: A great tour through the permanent exhibition where you will learn about ocean navigation to the environmental consequences of global exploration. Learn about the stories and tales of the navigators, the evolution of maritime technology and Spain’s influence on the exploration of the ocean. With this ticket you can also head to the Lookout Tower for an incredible view of Sevilla.
Guided Visit & Workshop Sailing with the Family: A great tour through the permanent exhibition where you will learn about ocean navigation to the environmental consequences of global exploration. Learn about the stories and tales of the navigators, the evolution of maritime technology and Spain’s influence on the exploration of the ocean. All with an expert that will make you live everything through with an eye-opening workshop as well on nautical instrumentation and orientation. There is also a virtual academy to teach you to manoeuvre a ship.
The museum is near the river, about 40-minutes away from the centre.
Prefer to use public transport? Take the C4 bus and stop at “Torneo (Baños)”. From there it’s just a 10-minute walk crossing the river.
Alternatively, a taxi might be a good option since it’s a 15-minute drive. Always check with your hotel on what options you have available as they will use reputable companies.
