Zoo Aquarium Madrid

Kids always adore being surrounded by friendly animals! For all ages, this family day out is perfect to create some wonderful memories on your Madrid trip.

What can you expect?

Lots of different animals: Amazonian otters, American Bison, Reindeers, White Rhinoceros, etc. This zoo is especially great as it also a dolphinarium and aquarium to see the Dolphins and a side of marine life as well.

You can also get a fun and educational active lesson to get to know some species more in-depth like the Dolphins, Sea-lions or some exotic birds. Of course, there are also restaurants throughout the area where you can sit and relax while you enjoy a nice lunch.   

How to get there

Want to use public transport? The dark blue metro line 10 will leave you less than 15 minutes away from the zoo. It depends on where you are staying but, from the centre of Madrid, it should take you 30 minutes total.

Alternatively, a taxi might be a good option. We recommend you booking this from your hotel as they will use reputable companies. The ride is less than 20 minutes long from the city centre. There are parking facilities available outside the zoo.
