The GF Victoria is stylish, modern and fresh. Situated just 150 metres from the stunning golden beach, Playa Del Duque, it is the perfect hotel for a luxurious family break. 

The Resort

The family friendly resort of Costa Adeje is filled with bars, shops and restaurants to suit every taste. The promenade is great for walking and the beaches are on your doorstep. There are parks, soft play areas and shopping centres really close by. There’s even a bus stop outside the hotel taking you free of charge to parks such as Siam Park, Aqualand and Jungle Park. (All just a short drive away). Location wise, the hotel really couldn’t be more perfect. If you chose to hire a car during your stay, the hotel has underground parking available free of charge for hotel guests.

The Rooms

All rooms are suites, meaning lots of space. There is a separate bedroom and living room area. Rooms can sleep up to 4 people. They don’t have interconnecting rooms however you can request rooms next to each other. Cots and some baby facilities can be provided as a standard. All rooms include small fridges and kettles as well as a bath and separate shower. For an extra touch, book a premium suite. These rooms include kitchenettes and babysitting facilities on request.

The hotel’s babysitting facility comes with an extra charge approximately 15 euros per hour. We recommend you speak with the hotel directly about this as hours and rates may vary.

Kids Clubs

There’s a mini club on-site for children aged between 4-12 years with toys, games, dances and sports. It’s open between 11-4pm.

There is even a baby club for little ones aged between 4 months and 3 years old, open between 10-3pm (depending on occupancy). There is a large soft play area supervised by childcare professionals where they can enjoy Lego building, finger painting and more.

Both the baby club and mini club must be booked in advance direct with the hotel.

You will even find a teenage club for those aged 13-17 with video games, sports and simulation machines open every evening between 8pm and 10:45pm. (The opening hours for all the kid's clubs are subject to change depending on occupancy).

The hotel has a great entertainment team in the hotel with daily mini discos, theatre shows and evening music as well as daytime activities such as ping pong, mini golf and yoga. 

The Pools

There are 5 swimming pools in total. 3 kid's pools, 1 family pool and 1 adult only pool. The rooftop plunge, infinity pool is a great photo stop. All family and children’s pools are heated. There’s a water park with colourful slides, water jets and connecting bridges between pools. There’s something for all ages. There is even a wave pool for those wanting to learn how to surf! (Some of the larger slides and the wave pool require children to be 120cm or above).

Facilities

There’s an adventure playground with treehouses, climbing walls and suspension bridges. There’s even a fun zip line. They have different levels suitable for different heights with a minimum height requirement of 1.1 metres.

You will also find amazing sports facilities such as mini golf and ping pong. There’s a multi sports court for basketball and football as well as tennis and pádel courts. Activities for children run throughout the day. They can even practice yoga and pilates in the Zen Garden.

Another bonus at this hotel is that one of the two indoor spas is specifically for families to use! It includes specialist treatments for hyperactive kids as well as baby massage for new mums. (Spa visits and treatments must be booked in advance via the hotel or its website directly). There is an extra charge for this facility. 

Gastronomy

There are 3 main restaurants, including buffet and A La Carte options. The buffet restaurant has a children’s section. There’s also snack bars, a food truck, juice bars and more. The rooftop bar has spectacular views! You can opt for Bed and Breakfast, Half Board or Full Board options, whatever suits you best. They can heat up baby food, provide highchairs and generally help with anything you need. Nothing is too much trouble.

Also remember, because the location of the hotel is so good, you have restaurants, bars and supermarkets right on your doorstep suiting a variety of tastes and budgets.

CONS:

  • It’s hard to find one to be honest. The price is the one annoying thing as it does come with a higher price tag than most other family hotels in Tenerife.
  • Some of the slides in the Splash Park and the wave machine come with a height requirement of 1.2 metres.
