Gran Melia Palacio de Isora

The Resort

Nestled between banana plantations, right on the seafront in the quaint, traditional resort of Alcalá, the Gran Melia Hotel is a perfect haven for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The resort of Alcalá has a few traditional restaurants, bars and shops. The resort has lots of parks, rock pools and small beaches. There are sandpits and skate parks as well as multi sports courts. The small seafront promenade is the perfect family hangout. The slightly bigger resort of Playa San Juan, lined with bars, shops and restaurants is just a short taxi ride away. A taxi to attractions such as Siam Park costs around 35 euro each way. The hotel is on a local bus route as well. Bus number 473 runs between Los Gigantes and Los Cristianos every 30 minutes during the day for under 5 euros. It can take a while on the bus to get to the south of the island so many people staying here often chose to hire a car during their stay. There is plenty of free parking by the hotel.

Don’t forget… Travel 4 baby offer car quality car seats for your car rentals as well as kids scooters for the promenade and much more. Check out our hire shop for more details.
